Ascenta ascents towards academics

Ascenta, our Biomarker database was created by Gene Logic, whose genomic assets we acquired in 2007. Since then we have been diligently working on making this product, a center piece of our biomarker capabilities. Gene Logic in the past was shy of working with academics since our data was proprietary.

At Ocimum, we envisioned a change in how research would be done and created our RaaS ( Research as a Service) model. This model assumes a strong collaborative force into play and there is a strong emphasis of innovation outside of the typical large pharma in either a small biotech or by academics.

Over the last two years, there has been an interesting development in the marketplace and it appears that this collaborative research is indeed the direction research is moving towards.

On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we decide we should make this happen in a big way. We therefore invite academics to enjoy this very special offer to make this connection and collaboration easier.

Ascenta, as I have written before is now stronger, better and has ambitious plans. We need your feedback in making this the tool of choice. Your comments will help us get there and I hope this offer will help you get to Ascenta.

And if you haven’t read the press release, ( well it is a possibility) please see this link and get your trial copy soon
