Oh the woods I walked by
brushing leaves while on wifi
resplendent in different hues
Wish I was tuned into nature’s clues
and as time goes by
autumn colors will become so dry
shades of gray and brown
will then be the color of the town
yet once again, beyond the gloom
the flowers will once again bloom
colors will be back in the day
replacing those shades of gray
and so the cycle will continue
varying with time and the venue
And for a few minutes out of sight
I once again oblige the red blinking light
